Queer as Folk - MM - Strong R

I know its been awhile since my last post in here. Been working on some current WIP's that I'm hoping to submit places. Some material longer than most of the stories I post here. I also know I'm posting a quite of bit of fan fiction right now, but that isn't my main focus. I just don't like posting excerpts from current WIP's publically, so chances of publication aren't diminished.

Title: Please Don't
Fandom: Queer as Folk
Season 5 Spoiler Warning
Rating: Strong R - implied sex

Please don't. Those two words kept echoing in his mind. Don't what? Don't go? Don't leave him. Don't stop loving him. Don't forget him. all those and more kept jumping through hoops in his mind. He could open his mouth and let them out into the world, but that just wasn't his style. That just wasn't how he operated.

He wouldn't stop Justin from leaving for New York City. He knew the kid was destined for more than this, more than him and what he could offer him. Justin didn't want to be someone's Prince locked up away from the world. Justin had a talent some would kill to have, and he had to use it. He couldn't allow it to go to waste.

Justin was destined for more, and he would let him go to find it. What was that saying he heard, if you let something go and it comes back to you, it was really meant to be. Some shit like that anyway. He wasn't one to remember quotes. That was Justin's thing. Not his.

He watched as Justin finished packing. A flight set for that night, and he was flying away. Away from him. Would Justin even consider staying if he uttered those two words that even now played through his mind.

No.

Justin's mind was set, and once his mind was set, he was fairly stubborn about changing his mind. As was he, so he could understand Justin's stubborn behavior.

Brian stood there, watching this man prepare to walk out of his life, and all he wanted to say was please don't. He stayed silent though, pulling the younger man to him for a kiss when it came time. A kiss long and bittersweet with the words good-bye present in every slide of tongue, in every moan. Their bodies moving to the bed and laying across it together, bodies moving together in a long set rhythm.

Brian opening his eyes when it was all done and he was alone. He poured himself a drink and sat on the bed, those words finally falling from his lips. "Please don't ..."
